Mel Stride paid a visit to booming local company CareFlex on Heathfield industrial estate near Bovey Tracey.
The company design, manufacture and provide specialist medical seating that is used by the NHS, local authorities and care homes.
Mel Stride, MP for Central Devon and Secretary of State for Department of Work and Pensions said: “CareFlex employs 65 people from the area and play an important role in our local economy.
“It has been great to see how this local success story has continued to go from strength to strengthand support people right across the country.”
