Mr Stride was joined by Bovey Tracey Town Mayor and Teignbridge District Councillor Avril Kerswell.
Jean Simpson said:
“It was very good of Mel to show his support for our new home by spending some time with us. We were delighted to show him around our state-of-the-art facility and have been really pleased with the support we’ve had from the community here in Bovey Tracey. Anyone wanting to know more about us can email [email protected].”
Mel added:
“It is absolutely vital that we have sufficient residential and nursing homes to care for our older residents when they need help later in life and I am delighted to see this excellent new home in Bovey Tracey about to open.”
